Product line · Compact reality capture
BLK is Leica’s compact reality-capture family below survey-grade RTC: imaging laser scanners you can carry, walking scanners in the hand, and a module for autonomous robots. One button, Cyclone in the workflow, IP54.
Current generation
The tripod line splits into two current units: the BLK360 G2 with VIS and 680,000 pts/s, and the BLK360 SE without VIS, with three resolutions and just under a minute for a full dome. Both weigh 850 g including battery, both 4 mm @ 10 m, both 0.5–45 m.
In the hand GrandSLAM runs: the BLK2GO scans while walking to 25 m (±10 mm indoor), the BLK2GO PULSE is first-person for interiors to 10 m and streams to a smartphone. BLK ARC hangs that same GrandSLAM idea on Spot and other robots.
The compact imaging flagship: VIS pre-registration, 680,000 pts/s, full dome plus LDR under 20 s, four 13 MP cameras, 850 g including battery, 4 mm @ 10 m.
Best for: As-built, BIM, construction records – when setups should stitch themselves.

The slimmer BLK360: no VIS, three resolutions, 340,000 pts/s, full dome plus LDR under a minute. The same 4 mm @ 10 m, the same 45 m window, 850 g including battery.
Best for: One-button scans when budget beats field registration.
View product →Handheld imaging scanner with GrandSLAM: 420,000 pts/s, 0.5–25 m, ±10 mm indoor, 775 g including battery, indoors and out, 45–50 min swappable battery.
Best for: Corridors, floors, plants – scan while walking instead of setup after setup.
View product →Indoor scanner with two ToF LiDARs: live point cloud to the smartphone, 0.5–10 m, ±2 cm indoor, 850 g including battery, 40–45 min, for targeted surfaces instead of whole buildings.
Best for: Apartments, interiors, a fast as-built on the phone.
View product →Laser-scan module for robots: 690 g, 420,000 pts/s, 0.5–25 m, ±10 mm indoor, missions via browser UI, including on Boston Dynamics Spot.
Best for: Large halls, repeat patrols, areas without staff.

Values from Leica datasheets: BLK360 G2 (1040380en 02.26 / DE 2022), BLK360 SE, BLK2GO (2019), BLK2GO PULSE (2023), BLK ARC (2024). SE scan rate 340,000 pts/s from catalog features; the SE sheet does not state it.
What changes
G2 pre-registers setups in the field with the Visual Inertial System. SE skips that and the fourth resolution step – full dome plus LDR in under a minute instead of under 20 s, 340,000 instead of 680,000 pts/s. Same 4 mm accuracy and the same 45 m window.
BLK2GO: 420,000 pts/s, 25 m, ±10 mm indoor, indoors and out. PULSE: two ToF sensors, 10 m, ±2 cm indoor, live stream to the phone, for targeted interiors rather than whole building wings.
BLK ARC is not a handheld: 690 g module, 420,000 pts/s, 25 m, ±10 mm indoor, missions through the browser UI on Boston Dynamics Spot. For halls and hazard zones nobody walks into with a 2GO.

Tripod, walking or robot picks the tier – not the badge. We’ll set that against area, accuracy and crew.
