The Shining 3D FreeScan UE Pro is a high-precision metrology-grade handheld 3D laser scanner tailored for demanding applications such as quality control, reverse engineering, and additive manufacturing. It delivers exceptional accuracy and detail capture, combining multiple laser line technologies and advanced photogrammetry to scan complex geometries accurately.
Equipped with a 3.2MP high-resolution camera and 26 laser lines (including 7 parallel lines for fine detail and a single line for deep-hole scanning), this scanner achieves a scan accuracy of up to 0.02 mm and volumetric accuracy as precise as 0.02 mm + 0.015 mm per meter when using photogrammetry. Its rapid measurement rate of 1,850,000 points per second ensures efficient yet detailed scanning workflows.
Designed for versatility, the FreeScan UE Pro can scan challenging materials, including black and reflective surfaces, without excessive preparation, thanks to its advanced laser technology. The integrated video photogrammetry system enhances global precision and eliminates the need for coded markers on large objects. Lightweight and ergonomic, it supports user-friendly operation and quick setup with magnetic marker balls.
