The 3DMakerpro Raven is a professional-grade, portable handheld LiDAR spatial scanner engineered for rapid and precise 3D capture of large-scale physical environments. It excels in digitizing wide-ranging spaces such as rooms, caves, streets, stadiums, and construction sites with high accuracy and ease of mobility. Combining LiDAR, high-resolution camera imagery, IMU, and GPS data, the Raven integrates advanced SLAM technology to produce clean, accurate, and detailed 3D color point clouds and polygonal models, minimizing drift and motion distortion during scans.
The device features a 360° horizontal and 40° vertical scanning field, enabling comprehensive coverage and fast acquisition. The scanner supports up to 100 meters of scan range, with reliable and precise measurements up to 40-50 meters depending on reflectivity, maintaining an accuracy of up to 2 cm at 10 meters. The built-in 12 MP camera enhances colorized point cloud outputs and supports Gaussian splatting for realistic visualizations and virtual reality applications.
Designed for field usage, the Raven is lightweight (only 1.1 kg), with an 8-core 2.4GHz processor and 32GB onboard storage expandable via TF card, ensuring smooth operation and large capacity for data storage. Its 12000mAh fast-charging battery supports up to 2 hours of continuous work, and the scanner can be externally powered while charging for extended use. The device includes a bright 3.9" AMOLED touchscreen for intuitive control and real-time visual feedback.
Additional expansion options include RTK positioning for improved spatial accuracy and Insta360 camera kits to expand imaging capabilities.
